Maa Ashapura is the kul devi of the residents of Kutch. She is professed as the fulfiller of dreams & wishes. There are many communities that worship her as their kul devi besides the Kutchis. The Gondal temple is about 60+ years old. The temple located at the entrance of the town is very scenic and one can actually find many picnickers during weekends. Adjoining the temple is also a dam which is yet another good location to visit. The temple is generally a good point to seek blessings before one enters the Gondal town.
