Temple – Ganpatpura
The temple is believed to be a Swayambhu, the deity was found while digging the land. The Idol of the god was found with golden anklets and kundal in the ears, and a crown on his head with Kanora on his waist. It is believed that on the day there was an argument as to where the deity should be placed. The fable goes that the deity was put on a cart with no ox to pull and let roll. The cart paused at Ganpatpura. This temple is believed to be 500 years old and renovated 5 years ago. It has a large flow of devotees throughout the year. All the Chaturthi are celebrated. A raj bhog- Annakuta is offered to Lord Ganesha on the New year’s eve.
